Whether it's a classic, elegant studio shoot or a romantic outdoor setting, a bridal portrait session gives you the opportunity to capture detailed, high-quality images of you in your wedding gown, showcasing the intricate lace, fabric, and fit of the dress. • 1. What is a bridal portrait session?

A bridal portrait session is a pre-wedding photoshoot where the bride is photographed in her wedding attire, including the dress, veil, and accessories. It typically takes place a few weeks or months before the wedding day, giving the bride an opportunity to get beautiful, timeless images of herself in her gown without the time constraints of the wedding day.

    2. When should I schedule my bridal portrait session?

It’s best to schedule your bridal portrait session 4-8 weeks before your wedding day. This gives you plenty of time to receive your gown, schedule hair and makeup trials, and make any necessary adjustments. It also allows enough time to receive the final edited photos before the wedding.

    3. What should I bring to my bridal portrait session?

Along with your wedding dress, veil, shoes, and accessories, bring anything that you plan to wear on the wedding day, such as jewelry or a bouquet. It's also a good idea to bring any touch-up makeup, hair pins, or other items that may be useful during the shoot.

    4. Can I have my bridal portraits taken outdoors?

Yes! Many brides opt for an outdoor bridal portrait session, such as in a park, garden, or historic building, to add variety and personality to their photos. Most wedding venues will allow for brides to take these portraits onsite and we also have 2 indoor studio spaces that are available as well.

    5. Do I need to have hair and makeup done for the session?

Yes, it's recommended to have your hair and makeup professionally done for your bridal portrait session to ensure that you look your best and the photos reflect your wedding day look. You can even schedule a trial run with your hair and makeup artist during this session to see how it looks on camera before your wedding day.

  • Capture Timeless Memories: A bridal portrait session allows you to get beautiful, high-quality photos of you in your wedding attire before the big day, preserving those special moments forever.

No Time Pressure on Wedding Day: With a bridal portrait session, you can take your time to get the perfect shots without the rush and pressure of the wedding day schedule.

Relaxed Atmosphere: You’ll have a more relaxed environment to experiment with different poses, locations, and lighting, resulting in more creative and personal photos.

Hair and Makeup Trial: It’s an opportunity to see how your wedding hair and makeup look in photos, and make any adjustments if needed before the actual ceremony.
